Discovery Tour Weinviertel for International Wine Professionals
As part of the VieVinum Lower Austria Tour, 22 international wine professionals explored Weinviertel and got to know the region from a unique perspective. The first stop was at the Retzer Erlebniskeller, before continuing on to the historic windmill. Under the arbor at the beautiful Windmühlheuriger, 36 Weinviertel wines showcased our distinctive wine-growing region. At the Weinviertel DAC & Weinviertel DAC Reserve Bar, the professionals deepened their knowledge of our Grüner Veltliner and its typicity, while the Variety Bar offered tastings ranging from sparkling to red wines. Before the journey continued, we offered a traditional Weinviertel “Heurigen-Snack”.
